Thinking Sexuality.
Living in the 21st century is it possible for a woman to be in control of her own sexuality? In Western society, social constructions of the feminine related to a patriachal view of women constantly test this idea. Equality in the workplace and sexual liberation were ideals fought during the second and third wave feminism of the late 20th Century. Success in the acheivement of this type of equality is still debatable. Certainly there have been many changes which have taken place. More so then ever before, women are free to realise their life aspirations, and choice is abundant. Despite this, a womans identity and essentially her sexuality is still influenced by the perceptions held by her family, peers and men.
